Logan's Lapbratz
All Creatures Great and Small, The Lord God Made Them All ....
Logan is growing up. And as a mom who wants to raise my children in a direction that may take many of us back to humble beginnings - it's my prayer to instill in them the purposes that I believe our Maker wants us to find in our lives. And one of them is that when she hears the word "Drool", she thinks of a dog!"
That may seem awfully funny, but maybe you can identify with that - in a world of too much garbage, it's it wonderful to know you can love something so small and simple and to know that it loves you back! We're both tomboy girls, I suppose you can say, and she loves her animals - all shapes, sizes, colors from her Angora Bunnies to her horse.
She can hardly wait to get home from school to carry around "Henrietta" , her favorite old hen and to brush "Hugo" our horse, to cut up some oranges and apples for the Bunnies, along with a good carrot or two, and of course to cuddle a puppy in her arms. I've never met a person who doesn't love the sight of a puppy - I think baby animals are a way to bring people together! And we have been an animal family all our lives - if you haven't - then now is the time to start.
Our pets are amazing - they bring something into our lives that is so simple and unique. You've problem often heard that your dog loves you more than anybody else in the world - well, that's true. Our pets depend on us fully for their care and they love us unconditionally - it's sort of like the love that Jesus has for us.
Since I am on the farm all day, I get to enjoy the sounds and the feels all around me - from the crowing of the rooster in the morning until the last kiss in the face from my favorite dog.
That's what Lapbratz love is all about!
